Due to the limited number of set-up slots and availability of props and decorations, please note that our set-up services are on a first come first serve basis.
All bookings shall be confirmed with the full payment made within 24 hours upon checking out from our website. Reservation for the time slot, alongside the props and decorations, shall be held for 24 hours, until the payment is completed. In the event that the payment is not made within the specified timeframe, the time slot and props will be released for other bookings.
Please be mindful of the duration required for event set-up and tear down when booking your venue. Depending on the complexity of the set up, the duration required for set-up is 1-2hours, while tear down is 30mins-1 hour.
Please be assured that we will advise you on the estimated set-up and tear down duration, upon the confirmation of your order.
A surcharge of $30 applies for set-ups in Marina Bay Sands (Hotel/Shoppes) and Jurong Island.
Additional surcharge of $50-100 applies for event venues on 2nd floor and above, without any lift-access (i.e., Second Storey in a Shophouse, Landed Property, Condo Function Room etc).
Event Set-Up before 12pm will be subject to a $50-150 surcharge and/or tear down after 11pm will be subject to a $50 surcharge.
Surcharge will be applicable on top of the total charge for bookings made less than 7 days from event date.
Less than 7 days - $50
Less than 3 days - $100
Changes to the event date/time/venue is subject to the availability of our set-up slots, alongside the agreed upon props and decorations. However, any other expenses arising from the date change, including but not limited to fees that are non-refundable (i.e., custom props/perishable items such as fresh flowers), will be the sole responsibility of the client, deductible from the booking payment. Cancellation charges are also applicable in the event that we are not available for the updated event schedule.
Changes to the type of decor after your confirmation of order is subject to the availability of the props and decorations. While we will try our best to accommodate your requests, additional costs could be incurred from these changes. SIS reserves the right to commence any changes other than those previously discussed, once payment is made.
While there will not be any refunds for cancellation of orders after it has been confirmed with us, the paid amount can be converted to credit for your future event use, valid within the next 1 year from the day of your original event date.
This is subject to a written cancellation from you to Style It Simply, with the cancellation made more than 7 days prior to the intended event date. Last minute cancellation that occurs less than 7 days before the intended event date will be subject to a cancellation rate of $100, with the balance converted to credit for your future event use, valid within the next 1 year from the day of your original event date.
Any other expenses arising from the booking cancellation, including but not limited to fees that are non-refundable (i.e., custom props/perishable items such as fresh flowers), will be the sole responsibility of the client, deductible from the booking payment.
On set-up day, a $150 security deposit fee is to be paid in cash or via paynow upon the event date. It will be refunded after tear down when all SIS props and decorations are returned in good condition.
Should there be any damaged or misplaced props and/or decorations, the security deposit will be deducted according to the retail value of the items. Should the replacement value exceed the security deposit value, additional cost charges will be applicable. For fabrics such as table cloth / tulle curtain/ carpet, a cleaning fee of $10-50 will be imposed if they are dirtied/ stained.
After the event tear down and the rental props and decorations are deemed to be in satisfactory condition by us, the security deposit will be refunded within 3 business days.
You shall assume all responsibility and liability caused by any injury or damages caused to any person and property sustained from any item leased to them from Style It Simply. You further agree to indemnify Style It Simply in any legal action arising out of any injury or damage allegedly caused by any item leased by Style It Simply, including but not limited to the cost of any attorney's fees and court costs associated with any litigation in defence of any said litigation.
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to update, change or replace any part of these Booking Terms by posting updates and changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check our website periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to our website or our services following the posting of any changes to these Booking Terms constitutes as acceptance of those changes.
